The Right "REALTOR"
People don't talk about it a lot. But finding the right Realtor can make the difference between a happy, stress-free home buying or selling experience, and an unhappy, stressful experience.
Not every Broker or Agent is a Realtor. Realtors have joined the National Association of Realtors and their local Board and have agreed to abide by the Realtor Code of Ethics. Agents who can't afford to be Realtors, or choose not to be, usually are part timers or beginners. BE SURE YOUR AGENT IS A "REALTOR". Now for some suggestions.
First, you'll want a Realtor who is ready and able to make a full-time commitment to you. Marilyn has worked full time in the profession for her entire career. You wouldn't hire a part time doctor or lawyer - why would you work with a part time real estate agent?
Second, you'll want an agent with the experience needed to know the local neighborhoods, schools, market conditions, ordinances, etc. With Marilyn's 20+ years of experience in the local market, she has the expertise and track record of success you need.
Third, you'll want a Realtor who embraces the convenience of technology without losing the personal touch. You'll love the resources available on Marilyn's website and the e-mail alerts that she sends, but these will never replace the time she spends with you personally, serving as your personal guide through this exciting, but sometimes harrowing process.
Get together with Marilyn and talk about your home buying and/or selling plans. Call her at 303-332-6166 or send an e-mail to: homesbym@q.com, and you can set-up a time that is easy and convenient for you to meet.
P.S. If you're not ready to meet in person, please tour through her website until you're ready to contact her. There's is a huge amount of useful information here, that's updated often.
